Human Rights

The Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) is Denmark's national human rights institution. The Institute is engaged in research, analysis of areas related to human rights and equality, holds seminars, courses and conferences and provides information and advice on implementation of human rights and equality in Denmark. In addition, DIHR carry out reporting to international bodies concerning the human rights situation in Denmark.

DIHR has a specific mandate to monitor human rights in Denmark in relation to disability and to promote equality and combat discrimination in relation to race/ ethnicity and gender.
